What needed solving.

Open houses generate warm leads — and most of them evaporate. Agents collect names on a paper sheet, get busy, and never follow up in time. By the time anyone reaches out, the visitor has moved on.

The job was to remove the friction at both ends: make signing in effortless for visitors, and make follow-up automatic for the agent, without adding another app for anyone to download.

How we built it.

We built KnockTrace as a focused web app. A single QR code replaces the paper sheet — a visitor scans, signs in from their phone in under thirty seconds, and lands in the agent’s pipeline instantly. No app install, no friction.

Behind that simple front door sits the real value: an automation engine that sends personalised emails and SMS the same day and again on day three, exactly when interest is highest. Agents get a clean visitor pipeline with interest levels and status tracking so they always know who to call next.

We scoped tightly to that core loop — capture, follow up, track — and built it on infrastructure that can grow, rather than padding the first version with features no one had asked for yet.

Where it landed.

KnockTrace is live and running real open houses. The product does what it set out to do: replace a lossy paper process with an automated one, so the lead an agent worked hard to get actually turns into a conversation.

Because it’s built in-house, we run the product end to end — which keeps us honest about what it takes to ship, operate, and improve a real SaaS used by paying customers.
